A famous sentence by Doyle Brunson :“knowing what to do is only 10% of the game, knowing how to do it is the other 90%”.

A lot of people agree with Doyle, however only a slight percentage of us can do it right. Because of it we choose to focus in what is right do to, seeking the correct move to any situation. Nevertheless as we said before the right move is only 10% of the job.

Knowing what’s right to do is quite easy, you just need good mathematic skills and fast thinking, however knowing how to do it demands you to understand your opponents need and to be able to understand how they play.

For an easy start there are some rules that work most of the times:

When your opponent is left with less than a third of what he cashed in, he will play more aggressive than usually.

People intent to see their winning money as a bonus, therefore they will play more carelessly with it, use this to sweep a large pots.

In order to make a good bluff you need to check a few things:

Play your bluff only when you are in the dealer position and when you’re sure that there are no more than 2 players in the game.

Better to bluff when you have money to loss

Never bluff with more than double of the pot’s sum

There are many more things and tools for you to use against your opponents, most of this tactics relies on psychological theories.

Bluffing is an essential part for the professional poker player. A good player can bluff, a professional player can see the fraud and to inflict great damage to his opponent. Because of its nature bluffing is a very dangerous strategy and like every profitable investment you might loss, if you sense that your bluff has been discovered you better lay down your hand in order to minimize your loss.

That was bluffing for beginners, practice it in low blinds tables, build your self-confidence and then move on to play on big pots, and remember playing the large pots the same way you were playing the small ones- that’s the key for victory.

Winning in Poker and making money it’s not an easy task for a novice player, your moves and game methods are always under watch. The predators are the experienced poker players.

An experienced player can learn your moves and by doing so he can latterly know what cards are you holding up to your chest. Lucky for you, we are playing on the internet therefore they can’t see you. What damages this culpability greatly; however they have developed another technique they have learned to monitor your reactions. How do you react to small raises? They check if you love risks, are you willing to pay to see the river etc’ etc ‘. How can you avoid this and become winners?

Few tips:

Pick two or three different hands that you will always bluff with them just to confuse your opponents. Your game level will increase rapidly when your opponents could no longer anticipate your next move or to figure out what cards do you have.

At the beginning of the game while the blinds are small and the pots are also small you need to pay at least two rounds in order to learn how dose your opponents like to play. Do they take risks or not etc’ etc’.

Poker is based on statistics never put your money on a feelings, never!
